Agia Roumeli
Agia Roumeli is located 60 km south of Chania. It stands right at the end of the Samaria gorge, on the southern coast of Crete and is only reachable by boat or on foot through the gorge.
It is a small, sun washed resort, built next to an exquisite beach with crystal clear waters.
The few residents earn their living only from tourism during the summer while for the rest of the year they herd their cattle and produce fine honey.
