Falasarna
Falasarna was the western city of Crete. A commercial naval power and the harbour of ancient Polirinia. Part of the Acropolis, defensive towers, sinks, walls of houses and temples dedicated to Diktynna and Apollo are preserved. The fortification walls around the hill are still visible but there are no relics of the port since the sea level has changed. Coins found at this place testify the independence of the city.
Falasarna is a small paradise, with a long, golden sandy beach and turquoise waters, where wild nature and peace can be enjoyed at their maximum.
