Stalis
On the east of Heraklion between Hersonissos and Malia lies Stalis. A lively resort with all kinds of hotels and apartments, restaurants and cafes and of course pubs and bars. A place where somebody can enjoy the cosmopolitan night life of Crete but also relax in one of the waterfront romantic restaurants.
The beach in Stalis is long and sandy with plenty of water sports available. Lassithi plateau and Ideon Andron are easily accessible from Stalis as well as the Minoan palace of Malia.
