Panormo

Panormo is a small holiday resort , located on the north coast of Crete, between Heraklion and Rethymnon.

It used to be an important harbour during the ancient times and it now is a flourishing small town, with accommodation facilities, mini markets, and restaurants situated on the sea side with great views to the small port.

Panormo is an authentic Cretan village with traditional narrow streets and it is the perfect place for those who want to escape a little and enjoy the peace of Cretan life.

About 25klm to the south is the archaeological site of Eleftherna and close enough is the pottery village of Margarites, Arkadi monastery and Rethymnon town only 18klm away.
